In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top consumer finance applications on iOS in Ireland showed varied performance trends across downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Revolut: Send, spend and save had a notable presence with weekly downloads beginning at approximately 3.9K at the start of October, peaking at 5.2K in the second week, and gradually declining to around 2.7K by the end of December. Weekly active users displayed a consistent pattern, starting at 1.06M and showing a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching 1.08M.

AIB Mobile maintained a steady download rate, starting at 1.9K and slightly decreasing to 1.5K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed some fluctuations, beginning at 510K and reaching a high of 514K in the final week of December.

Bank of Ireland Mobile Banking experienced a stable download trend, with numbers around 1.4K at the start and ending slightly lower at 1.1K. Active users initially decreased from nearly 300K to a low of 270K mid-quarter but eventually rose to over 306K by the end of December.

The permanent tsb app began the quarter with weekly downloads around 922 and saw a gradual decline to 572 by the end. Active users increased from 80K to over 90K, showcasing a growth trend throughout the quarter.

Finally, An Post Money started with 782 downloads per week, dropping to 641 by the end of December. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 12.3K and ending at 11.9K.
